Q/MT21
series defoliator is the specialist defolate device developed by
the company in the year of 1994. Over years, it has been used by
many tobacco factories and tobacco redrying factories. The products
have reached the level of the same kind of product overseas. It
is easy to be operated and maintained and brings the threshing line
into play to a largest extent.
Threshing line generally contains many threshing units consisting
of one or several devices. Take 6000kg/h line as the example, first
threshing unit consists of ratio sortor, gantry type defoliator,
belt collector and bracket, the second threshing units consists
of rotary sortor, gantry type defoliator, belt collector and the
bracket, the third and fouth threshing unit is the stand-alone device.

Technical Instruction:

defoliator is classified into two types, namely, floor type and
gantry type. The two kinds has the similiar frame and the same function.
According to the scale of threshing line, the defoliator has seven
types such as 144、120、96、84、72、60
and 48. Each type has different clearance and rotate speed due to
the position of defoliator. The working theory of defoliator is
to separate the humid stalk from the tobacco with the shearing force
between kinetic blade and static blade.

Proporty:
The
ratio sortor is mounted to the upper part of the rack by the side
panel and the upper beam spiro union. It is used to distribute
the materials to the defoliator well proportioned. It is classified
into five specifications by the inner dimension, namely, 144、120、96、72、60
and three grades, namely, two grades, three grades and four grades,
ten types in total. The Power of each speed reducer is 0.75kw.
Linear velocity of belt elevator is 0.75m/s,rotate speed of distributing
roller is 100rpm.

Property:
Rotary
distributor is mounted to the rack of second threshing unit by
the spiro union of the supporter.
It is used to distribute the materials to the defoliator well
proportioned.
The rotator is classified into five specifications by inner dimension,
namely, 96、72、60、48、42.
The Power of each speed reducer is 0.75kw. Rotate speed of distributing
roller is 100rpm.

Proporty:
Belt
Collector is mounted to the lower part of the supporter of the
equipment by the side panel and the spiro
union of the supporter. It is used to collect the tobacco
leaves dropped from the defolirator and then send the leaves to
the tube by its bagger. The belt collector is classified into
six types by width, namely, 144、120、96、84、72、60.
Power of the speed reducer is changed with the amount of the defoliator.
Power of speed reducer is 3.0KW
when three defoliator, power is 2.2KW
when two defoliator.

CA14 Stalk inspector

Usage:
Stalk
inspector is a kind of specialist inspector to test the stalk
content of leaves and the leaves content of stalk in the tobacco
industry.
Theory:
The
design and test of the CA13 type stalk inspector is grounded
on the general CORESTA testing method widely used in
the world. The specialist simulating plate of tobacco leaves
and stalk are used as the reference of tobacco leaves and
stalk. The objects are automatically separated into leaves
and stalks after the treatment by the inspector. Replacing
the manual separation, it largely improves the testing efficiency
and accuracy and avoids the influence to the final result
of the test due to the human factor.
Frame:
The
stalk inspector mainly consists of belt defoliator, 450 material
blanker, air separator, 650 material blanker, fan blowing
duct and returning duct.

Sortor

Usage:
Rotary sortor is researched and developed
with the advanced technology imported from USA. It is a specialized
testing device of tobacco leaves and complies with the requirement
of CORESTE. The technical parameters and propety accords with
the stipulations of YC/T136-1998 equ ISO12194.
The
device can cooperatively work with stalk inspector to test
the structure of stalk. It can also be individually used to
test the dimension of tobacco smalls.
Property:
The stalks(or smalls) with four kinds
of dimensions can be obtained by the different sifting screen.
After the weighing analysis, the composition of the stalk(or
smalls) is concluded. The device is suitable for the analysis
and measurement of composition of leaves in the tobacco factory
and redrying factory.

Roller
is the important part of the defoliator. The leaves and the stalks
are separated through the rotation of roller. Both Comas type
defoliator(transformed from defoliator of Italy Comas Company)
and the Mac Type defoliator (transformed from the defoliator of
MacTavish Company of USA) are produced by the company.
Mac type roller has two types, one is ear
base type and the other is disk type. In the structure of ear
base type, the ear bases are welded in couples on the modules
of principal axis. They are arranged according to the helix angle.
The kinetic tooth is fixed by bolt between the two ear bases and
the shear pin prevents the tooth of blase from rotation.
In the structure of disk type roller, the
kinetic tooth is fixed between the two disks by the holder. The
shear pin prevents the tooth of blase from rotation. Many disks
and blade teeth are mounted on the principle axis. Between the
disks without the tooth, the distance plate shall be placed to
keep the clearance from the tooth. After the installation of disk,
fix the disks onto the modules of the principle axis with tighten
bar and head disk.
The module of principle is welded with
steel tubes. Comparing with the original Comas type defoliator,
it lightens the roller, reduces the consumption of steel, ensures
the moment of inertia of roller.
It has more strongpoints than the Mac Type
for the structural features of Comas Type:
1.The kinetic tooth of ear base type
roller is arranged by helix to realize the well proportioned distribution
of load of tobacco. This avoids the damage to the device by the
impact load.
2.Convenient change of kinetic tooth to reduce the human work
and the time to change tooth.
3.For the safety pin of each kinetic tooth, the pin will break
and then the tooth will rotate in direction of load when the kinetic
tooth meet with the large impact load. This minimizes the damage
of the device when the unwanted materials enter the device.
4.Ear base type and disk type have their own features; the former
has a large blade clearance, the kinetic tooth is convenient to
be replaced, generally be arranged in the second and third threshing
units; the later has a tight structure with a small blade clearance,
shall be installed to the last several threshing units.
5.Roller of Mac type is lighter than that of Comas for its principle
axis made of steel tube. So, it is convenient for the repair and
replacement of the whole roller.
6.The kinetic tooth of Mac type roller is two-side coating
hard alloy granule. So, there is no directional restriction in
the installation of kinetic tooth. The roller can be installed
within the regulating range of 180 degree and this makes the installation
more flexible.
In the design of Mac type defoliator in
our company, we developed the Mac type rotor using the existed
Mac type enclosure according to the actual situation that many
factories are still using the Mac type defoliator. This kind of
rotor keeps and develops the strongpoints of the original Mac
type rotor and absorbs the features of basket of Comas type. It
wins the welcome of many factories after use.
